Using this Script with Gold

I much prefer this Script's implementation of highlighting new comments than I do the similar feature that comes with Reddit Gold. How can I get this script to continue working even when my account has Gold? (because the script stops working even though you turn the Gold feature off in your Preferences).

Update: I have looked through the content of the script, and I managed to find the line of code that detects whether an account has Gold or not. I commented out this line and the script appears to be working fine once again.

I'll just need to remember to do the same again if the script auto-updates in future.
