Stopping at "[RaidCatcher] Pinging mirror *"

Recently, since a few days ago, perhaps since I switched to FF32 from 31, the RC doesn't load. When checking the console I get
"[RaidCatcher] Starting..."
"[RaidCatcher] Pinging mirror 1" (or some other number)

Then I get no more log, neither success or fail. I have asked a bit in chat and it seems like this is a problem with my set up, and nothing global. I have checked various logs for possible software that might be blocking IPs or such, but haven't found anything that has made any difference. I also have a laptop by my side, with pretty much the same set up on FF32, Adblock, etc. and no script blocking softwares are installed. On the laptop RC works, so I'm not sure what could be the problem.

I'm just wondering, where do I look to solve this? What could be causing this?

(I have of course tried restarts, reinstalls of script, clearing cache etc. and I'm using 2.5.13 but I tried to revert to older versions with no success)

Update:
I reverted to Firefox 31 and now the script loads normally. I haven't tried reinstalling 32 now again, but obviously something can go wrong there. So perhaps there's something that can be improved in terms of FF32+ compatibility to load the Raids tab or pinging the mirrors.

Updated to FF 32.0.3 to check again, and it's not working now either. Can anyone please suggest something I can look at to make it work? I tried clearing cache etc. and RC works on another computer with FF 32.0.3. So why is it stopping at Pinging mirror? I thought maybe it was blocked by Norton Internet Security or PeerBlock or something, but then it shouldn't work in FF 31, so it's really weird!
