After my request, you (Jason) have made /scripts.json response just an array, however for /users.json we still can see the search properties (modal, term, options and query). I think it would be more reasonable to make the response of both pages just an array (If you want a strict format for responses).

This is an unintended side effect of changing the backend for search functionality. It now works as you suggested.
